Sold Quilt - Shadowbox

This quilt features gorgeous quilting and dobby prints imported from Japan. Prints include traditional motifs including chrysanthemums and boro print designs. Main colours are dark purple and black with tiny clay and dark beige accents. The quilt pattern called Shadowbox was designed by Kari Nichols of Mountainpeak Creations and is available for purchase. My retired store sample was sold with permission. Details of the lovely professional machine quilting in a linear swirl design can be seen in the closeup photo. The quilt measures 59" x 81" and is appropriate for a large throw. The backing is a large scale traditional boro style print in coordinating colours with a black wavy floral tone on tone border.
